Photos optional
Your photos never leave this device. They are read and shrunk inside this browser tab and go straight into the PDF; nothing is uploaded, and they are not part of the link.
Holidays
Nothing is uploaded. The month pages and the PDF are made on your own device; the holiday dates ship with the page, copied from each government's own list. No account, no watermark.
All twelve months of 2027
No holidays marked. Pick a country under "Holidays marked" above and they appear on every month here and in the PDF.

2027 month by month
2027 is a common year of 365 days, 52 weeks and one day, so it starts and ends on the same weekday: Friday, January 1 and Friday, December 31. The first of each month falls on:
- Friday: January, October
- Monday: February, March, November
- Thursday: April, July
- Wednesday: September, December
- Saturday: May · Tuesday: June · Sunday: August
February and March start on the same weekday in every common year (February's 28 days are exactly four weeks), and so do April and July, and September and December. February 2027 is the neat one: 28 days starting on a Monday, so with Monday-first weeks it fills exactly four rows with no blank boxes. Months need six rows when day 1 sits late in the week: with Monday-first weeks that is May (starts Saturday) and August (starts Sunday); with Sunday-first weeks it is January, May and October.
What the 12-page PDF looks like
Each page has the month name in 28 pt at the top, the day grid filling the rest of the sheet, and the month's holidays both written inside their day boxes and listed below the grid with their dates. The grid keeps a 34 pt (12 mm) margin on every side, wider than the 3 to 6 mm a home printer cannot reach, so print at Actual size or 100%, not "Fit to page". Row height is the free height divided by that month's rows, so the boxes grow in four- and five-row months. Roughly, a day box on a five-row month is:
- A4 landscape (the default here): 39 × 33 mm
- A4 portrait: 27 × 50 mm, the most writing room per day
- US Letter landscape: 1.44 × 1.34 in
- US Letter portrait: 1.08 × 1.84 in
The PDF is vector, so the lines stay sharp at any size: printing it on A3 or Tabloid with "Fit to page" gives a large wall planner. Add a photo per month and it takes the left 42 % of a landscape page or the top 45 % of a portrait one, and the grid shrinks into the rest. Tick Add a cover page for a 13th page in front with the whole year at a glance.
Holidays on the month pages
With no country= in the address, a browser set to English (US), English (UK), German, Spanish (Spain or Mexico), French or English/French (Canada), English (Australia), English or Irish (Ireland), English or te reo Māori (New Zealand), or English, Afrikaans or isiZulu (South Africa) opens on that country's list and the page says it guessed; anyone else starts with none marked. Each list is copied from the government's own publication, the source is linked under the controls, and the dates are the days off: in the US list Independence Day is shaded on Monday, July 5, 2027, because July 4 is a Sunday. Ireland's ten days come from Citizens Information's 2027 table (St Brigid's Day is Monday 1 February), New Zealand's from Employment New Zealand with Matariki on Friday 25 June as its Act fixes it and each province's anniversary day under Region, and South Africa's from gov.za plus the Monday the Public Holidays Act adds when a holiday falls on a Sunday (22 March and 27 December 2027).
The address keeps your choices for sharing or bookmarking: ?country=US&start=sun&paper=letter is a US Letter monthly calendar with Sunday-first weeks and federal holidays, ?country=GB&orient=portrait an A4 portrait one with English bank holidays, and ?country=DE®ion=BY&weeks=1 adds Bavaria's extra days and ISO week numbers.
Honest limits
Only public holidays are marked: no school terms, no observances such as Mother's Day or Valentine's Day, and no US state holidays (moon phases are an opt-in switch: Show moon phases puts the new, first-quarter, full and last-quarter moons on their dates in your time zone). Week-starts-on is not guessed from your language, so US visitors who want Sunday first switch it once (or use the US page, which starts there). Month and day names print in English; the German and Spanish makers print their own. The fonts are the PDF standard Helvetica, Times and Courier, which cover Western European letters only. Photos are centre-cropped and are not kept if you reload. The twelve grids on this page follow the Holidays, Region, Week-starts-on and Year controls; the font and colours only change the PDF and the sample above.
How a long weekend is counted
A long weekend here is any run of three or more days off in a row made only of Saturdays, Sundays and the public holidays this calendar marks for your country (and region, if you pick one). Nothing else counts: a day the source does not list is a working day, no “observed” day is added that the source does not state, and a holiday marked for part of a day only (Queensland’s Christmas Eve, from 6 pm) does not join a run. In England and Wales, Good Friday (26 March 2027) and Easter Monday (29 March) make one four-day run; the other 2027 bank holidays are Mondays, giving three-day weekends, and the substitute days for Christmas make Saturday 25 to Tuesday 28 December four days.
Bridge days are suggestions, not holidays. A bridge day is an ordinary working day between a holiday and a weekend. Take Friday 7 May 2027 off in Germany, after Ascension Day (Christi Himmelfahrt) on Thursday 6 May, and you are off Thursday to Sunday: four days for one day of leave. Two days of leave are listed when they give five or more days off, and three only when they join two weekends — Wednesday 29 to Friday 31 December in England and Wales turn into ten days, Saturday 25 December to Monday 3 January 2028 (the New Year substitute day). A bridge day is never coloured on the grid or in the PDF. Tick Mark long weekends (or add lw=1 to the link) to draw a dashed outline round every run on the sheet and in each PDF layout; month pages also print each run under that month’s holidays.
