Scoreboard

Keep score for any game: big buttons for 1 to 12 players or teams, or a round-by-round sheet with totals.

Add two or more names to start. Pasting a class list or a column from a spreadsheet adds everyone at once.

Saved on this device as you play.

    Game settings

The game ends when any total reaches it, and a winner banner shows once.

    Up to three steps besides −1 and +1, e.g. 2, 3 or 10, 50, -5.

    How to keep score

    1. Type a name and tap Add, or paste a whole list (one name per line, or separated by commas). Up to 12 players or teams.
    2. Tap a colour dot to change a player's colour, and tap a name to rename it.
    3. Score with the big +1 and −1 buttons and the extra steps. Long-press any of them, or the score itself, to type an exact number.
    4. For card and board games, switch to Round sheet, type each round's points and read the totals in the bottom row.
    5. Optional: set a Target, turn on Lowest total wins or the Game clock, and open Full screen for a projector or a phone on the table.
    6. When the game ends, tap Share link to send the result, or New game to play again with the same players.

    How the scoring works

In Tap to score each card holds one number. In Round sheet the score is the sum of the rounds; an empty cell counts as 0, and decimals (a half point) and negative scores are allowed. The leader is the highest total, or the lowest with Lowest total wins on; while everyone is level nobody is highlighted.

With a target, the game ends the moment any total reaches it. The winner is whoever leads at that moment, which with lowest-wins is usually not the player who hit the target. Worked example, Hearts to 100 with lowest wins: after four rounds Ana has 34, Ben 101 and Cleo 58. Ben has passed 100, so the game ends and Ana wins with 34. The banner shows once; scoring on afterwards does not bring it back, and New game starts over.

Undo takes back the last change of any kind (a tap, a rename, a new round, a setting, even Clear everything) while this page is open, up to 200 steps. It does not touch the game clock.

    What it cannot do

    • No live sync between devices. A share link carries a copy of the scores at that moment; a new link carries new scores.
    • No sport-specific rules: no fouls, innings, sets, overs or serve tracking. It adds numbers; the rules stay with you.
    • 12 players or teams at most, 200 rounds, names up to 40 characters.
    • In full screen on an upright phone, two scores up to 99 are drawn at over a fifth of the screen height; more players or longer numbers get smaller tiles. Turn the phone sideways or use a bigger screen for six or more.
    • Undo history is lost when the page is closed; the game itself is kept.
    • Share links longer than 2,000 characters (a long round sheet) may be cut short by some chat apps.

    Privacy and what is stored

Names and scores never leave your device. The game is saved automatically in this browser's local storage so a reload or a closed tab does not lose it; Clear everything deletes it in one tap. The page sends an anonymous page-view count and, at most, four fixed words (score-start, score-fullscreen, score-share-make, score-share-open); never a name or a score. A share link carries the game after the #, which browsers do not send to any server, and opening one saves nothing unless you tap Continue this game here.

    Questions

How do I keep score for multiple players?

Type or paste the names, one per line, and tap Add. Each player or team gets a card with −1 and +1 buttons and your extra steps (+5 and +10 to start with). Up to 12 players or teams fit on one board; the leader's card is highlighted.

Can I use it as a classroom scoreboard?

Yes. Add the teams, open Full screen on the projector or interactive board, and keep scoring from a phone or the teacher's laptop with the board in another tab. In full screen the numbers are sized to fill their tiles: two teams' scores up to 99 are drawn at more than a fifth of the screen height even on an upright phone. Set a target such as 20 points to get a winner banner, and use the game clock for a timed quiz round.

Is it easy enough for kids?

The +1 button is the biggest thing on each card, every player has their own colour, and Undo takes back any wrong tap. There is no account, no ads and nothing to install. Children who can read their name can keep score for a board game on their own.

    Is this scoreboard free?

Yes, with no account, no ads and no limit on games. It runs in your browser, so the names and scores stay on your device.

How does the round sheet work for card games?

Switch to Round sheet and type each player's points for each round; empty cells count as 0 and negative numbers are allowed. The bottom row is the running total. Turn on Lowest total wins for games such as golf or Hearts, where the smallest total leads.
